In The Name Of ALLAH
Today I'm introduce a holy shrine that it's not so known to some shiia to you which is : (Mazar-e-sharif or The Blue Mosque"because its blue colored building ") Mazar-e-sharif means in Persian language the Holy shrine . It's located in Mazar-e-sharif city (which was named after the shrine ) and it's Afghanistan's largest northern city . Some believe that the body of Imam Ali (peace be upon him ) was transferred to Mazar-e-sharif by order of Imam Jaafar Al-Sadeq so that Abbasid caliph's men and spies won't have the chance to exhumed Imam Ali's pured body and mutilate it , of course as we all know this story it's not true because we all have no doubt that our Imam's body and shrine is in Najaf Al-Ashraf , Iraq . and some says that Imam Ali stayed in the mosque location while he was in his way to khorasan so the Afghans built this wonderful mosque to appreciate Imam Ali (a.s) . so we notice that in all cases this mosque is related to Imam Ali ( peace be upon him ) and beside this indication of faith and love which Afghanistan's shiaa hold to Ahlul-Bayt we don't forget how thousands of them come to Iraq to visit the holy shrines of Imams .
