40) The Right of one who seeks advice

The right of him who asks you for advice (mustashir) is that, if you consider that he has a correct opinion, you advise him to follow it, and if you do not consider it so, you direct him to someone who does consider it so.

39. حق المستشير

وحق المستشير إن علمت له رأيا حسنا له رأيا أشرت عليه وإن لم تعلم أرشدته إلى من يعلم.

The passing of time draws one towards death.


مِنَ الآجالِ إنْقِضاءُ السَّاعاتِ.
. How is it possible for one to live forever, when there will come a day which he will not pass and a seeker who will quickly bring him to his death, urging him forwards?


ـ ما عَسى أنْ يَكُونَ بَقاءُ مَنْ لَهُ يَوْمٌ لايَعدُوهُ وطالِبٌ حَثيثٌ مِنْ أجَلِهِ يَحدُوهُ.
