ﻓﻲ ﺍﻟﺒﺪﺍﻳﺔ ﻳﻮﺻﻒ ﺍﻟﺴﺠﻦ ﻭﺗﺠﻤﻊاﻟﻨﺎﺱ
A large crowd of puritans stands
outside of the prison, waiting for the
door to open. This prison is
described as a, “wooden jail already
marked with weather-stams and
other indications of age which gave
a yet darker aspect to its beetle-
browed and gloomy front” the iron
on the prison is rusting and creates

ﺍﻟﻜﺎﺗﺐ ﻳﺘﻜﻠﻢ يجب ان تكون ﻣﻘﺒﺮﺓ ﻭﺳﺠﻦ ﻭﺑﻨﺎﺀ ﻋﻠﻰ

ﺑﺪﺋﺖ ﺗﻈﻬﺮ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻋﻮﺍﻣﻞ ﺍﻟﺘﻌﺮﻳﺔ .ﺑﺪﺀ ﺍﻟﻜﺎﺗﺐ
ﻳﻮﺻﻒ ﺍﻟﻤﻨﻈﺮ امامﺑﺎﺏ ﺍﻟﺴﺠﻦ ﻛﻴﻒ
ﻛﺎﻥ ﺍﺷﺠﺎﺭ ﻣﻌﻔﻨﺔ ﻭﺷﻜﻠﻬﺎ ﺑﺸﻊ كي
ﻳﻌﻄﻰ ﻟﻠﻘﺎﺭﺉ ﺻﻮﺭﺓ ﻗﺒﻴﺤﺔ ﺍﻧﻪﺍﻟﺮﻭﺍﻳﺔ
لاتحوي شيء جيد
ﻛﺎﻥ ﻓﻲ ﺍﺯﻫﺎﺭ ﺑﺮﻳﺔ ﺟﻤﻴﻠﺔ ﺍﻟﺸﻜﻞ
Buton one side of the portal and
rooted almost at the threshold, was
a wild rosebush, covered in this
month of June, with its delicate
gems which might be imagined to
offer their fragrance and fragile
beauty to the prisoner as he went in,
and to the condemned criminal as he
come forth to his doom in taken that
